{WEDDING} Save the Date!

Hello again dear friends and family!

I am going to send out our save-the-dates tomorrow and I want to post a few pictures of them because....well, I am so darn proud of my crafty-manship :-) 

...Plus, I know that not everyone will be receiving one of these cute little guys and I'm sure that all of you want to see what they look like!

{WEDDING} 9.8.2012

Okay...Here's the post where I tell you all about the beautiful location of our wedding and give you some info on wedding related events!!

Lets start with the wedding ceremony...
David and I have decided to have a very small and intimate wedding ceremony, only immediate family and very close friends...not to fear though!!..we are going to have a large post-wedding celebration a few weeks after the ceremony so all our friends and extended family can celebrate with us!
Our small wedding ceremony will be held at the gorgeous Monrovia Canyon Park. Monrovia has a special place in our hearts becuase of David's involvement with the Monrovia Fire Department, plus the park is the most perfect place for us to tie the knot - it is a beautiful outdoor area which feels secluded and it's only a few minutes from civilization :-)
There is a cute little cabin and grassy field in the park which feels so secluded and calming...

Big post-wedding party...

We aren't sure where it will be held yet...but stay tuned, I will post about information for that when we figure it out!...Also, chances are you will get an invitation to that party sometime this summer with all the details!

Engagement Party/Bridal Shower...

I do not know anything about any plans for these events - they are totally up to our families to plan!!

Hopefully this information gives you something to chew on until more details are finalized!

{WEDDING} A Word About Registries

Hello All!
Just a quick word about our wedding registries...
Even though we have registered at Pottery Barn and Williams-Sonoma, it is simply a guideline tool - please do not feel obligated to purchase things for us!! We are simply glad that you are celebrating with us during this super fun time in our lives!

Another important aspect...
As many of you may or may not know - I am a sales associate at Williams-Sonoma, Inc which includes Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Williams-Sonoma, Williams-Sonoma Home, and West-Elm.

{ENGAGEMENT PICTURES}!!

I am so excited that David and I chose such a wonderful, professional and fun couple of photographers (Robert Paetz and Felicia Wong) for our wedding! We had our engagement pictures taken last Saturday (3.10) at the Griffith Observatory bright and early at 8am to beat the crowds and we had a stellar time (...see the pun?)!

Here are just a handful of pictures that our photographers took that day!

When I get a few more I will certainly post them...enjoy!

{NEW BLOG} WELCOME!

Well, David and I are engaged (for 3 months now)!!
Things are changing so rapidly and so many things are going on all an one time in both our lives...I knew we had to document our journey in some way - and what better way than a blog!?
After a some looking around at wedding webistes I knew it wasn't for us - so here is our "Kate and David Journey Together" blog to keep all our friends and family updated on our ever changing lives as we move through engaged life together: wedding planning, moving, graduating from college, getting new jobs, etc...
And not just our engaged life together but also as we move into married life and all the wonderful things we will experience and all the life changes and "firsts" that will go along with it!
